“Robert Knepper needs a hug.”

Still congested and medicated Cat and Carl discuss the demise of Caprica and the death threat of Fringe‘s move to Friday night. At last, we have something positive to say about Stargate: Universe while also putting it on deathwatch.

I think that “YAY” may be a little strong. I feel more comfortable with a placid and measured ‘golf clap’..

    ‘Not bad..’ =clap= ‘Not bad.. =clap= I wasn’t offended..’

I am pre-pissed [(c) Cat] about the Fringe move. Fox moves the show to the toughest night on TV, it holds its own ratings-wise against Grey’s and CSI. All while being consistently awesome in terms of content. But does Fox offer any congratulations or even a pat on the back? NO. It moves the show to the sci-fi death slot known as Friday night. Sure, it worked for X-Files after two or three years. That’s a lot more time than Fox gave to any other sci-fi shows that came after it. I think it’s safe to say that the X-Files is the exception that proves the rule.

If Fox kills this show, I’m officially done with them as a network. DONE.

It seems like Fringe was FOX’s darling for awhile. I guess the love affair is over. They and Syfy are responsible for the pre-mature death of so many great sci-fi shows.
