“Since when is Clark Kent a longshoreman?”
-Carl (@robominister)

-Cat (@fancyfembot)

Warning: We go from serious to silly in under 2 hours.

Today’s crew is Carl, Eric, Darrell, and Cat. Today we talk about The Dark Knight Rises. We start with discussing the tragedy at Aurora, CO (ends @ 14:33). We discuss the film and cover everything from Catwoman’s heels to Bane’s mush-mouth. An hour into the show Cat realizes she’s not recording but Eric’s system automatically records and saves the day. Eric also treats us to a great Bane impression.

This episode has the shawarma on the inside! Towards the end the conversation we talk about The Justice League vs. The Avengers and the new Man of Steel movie. There are Superman comic book and possible movie spoilers at 1:29:40. Cat voices her concern for Ant-Man at 1:36:40. There is a Total Recall discussion at 1:45:59 through 1:48:10 and includes location spoilers. If you know about that already, listen freely.

We have two, count them TWO Skyline digs this episode. No episodes of Heroes were harmed in the recording of this show.

Hi. This was brought up, so I thought I’d mention it. Daredevil, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spiderman, and Hulk were all licensed to Fox and Sony (respectively) to do films of them by Marvel. This was also before Disney bought Marvel, by the way. The license dictates that if these companies didn’t make a film within X amount of time (Five years, I believe) with the characters, the right goes back to Marvel. This was partially the reason why there was a new Spiderman movie. It had just made it in before the license went back to Marvel. Daredevil’s is going back next month, I believe. and FF should be back by now. Sony and Marvel made a deal to allow Hulk to be in Avengers, rumor was.And X-Men is what it is for the time being. Notice I didn’t mention Ghost Rider because….*shrugs* And Blade, i’m not sure where that stands.

Also, curious about the possible Ant Man that may be used? Check out Avengers: Earths’ Mightiest Heroes S01E05 – The Man In The Ant Hill. It showcases the Hank Pym version that could be done in the movie(but doubting it at this point).

And there are plenty of cool super heroes left to do, but I have gone on too long.
